Review of MAMA

Mama is a movie created by Andres Muschetti and directed by Guillermo Del Toro. It is a Horror movie rated for the ages under 16.  It is set in the USA in the south of California, in 2011.

A spirit called MAMA takes care of two girls called Victoria and Lilly. As the girls havelost their parents and the only family they have left is their uncle, they stay with him. Theiruncle is called Lucas, and he has a girlfriend called Annabelle. Unfortunately, she does notlike the idea of taking care of the girls. None of the girls like her, and the spirit does notlike her either. After an accident with their uncle, Annabelle needs to stay and take care ofthem alone, so she needs to live with Lilly, Victoria and a horrible unknown spirit whichonly the girls can see. 

The movie has a lot of thrilling parts. The story is really good. It includes new things to thehorror movie that have never been seen before. The sound effects are great. The cameramovements and the angles are really good.

This movie does not have gore and other contents that kids should not watch, but it has alot of jump scares, so I don't recommend this movie to people with serious health problemsor hearth conditions. I truly recommend this movie, if you are brave enough to watch itwith the lights off and the sound really high.
