Summary

MAMA: MAMA is a horror movie by Andres Muschetti. It is about two girls calledVictoria and Lilly. The movie started in 2008 (in the past) when the father of the girls killedhis wife, he escaped as quickly as he could with his daughters by car. In the road they had a car accident, but, luckily, the three of them didn't suffer any consequences in the crash.They crashed with a tree in the forest, so the father decided to go to the forest to hide for awhile. While they were getting into the forest, they found an old small house. The fatherwanted to leave the girls there, but a strange spirit took him and killed him. The two girlsstayed there, and the strange spirit took care of them. After three years , in 2011, living onthat house, two axe-men found them and they reported to the police that they had foundedtwo girls. Lilly, the youngest, who did not know how to speak and Victoria. Both of themwere in bad conditions and they walked as if they were dogs. 

The police could not find anyone more than their uncle, Lucas, who had a girlfriend calledAnnabelle. Annabelle did not like the idea of staying and taking care of the girls, but Lucasdid. After a few days, Victoria started to change in all aspects, but Lilly did not. The girlscalled the spirit MAMA, and MAMA did not like the new mother they were getting. First,Victoria and Lilly did not like Annabelle and she did not like them either. After that,Victoria and Annabelle started to have a good relationship and that made MAMA angry.One day Lucas had an accident, and he broke some bones. He had to stay in the hospital fora month. So, Annabelle had to stay with the girls and the spirit. After a few weeks,Annabelle started to have a relationship with Lilly, but that also made MAMA angry. Thenshe started investigating who the spirit the girls were talking to was and she found someinformation of a mother in the XV century that had committed suicide after having a baby,because they were accusing her of being a witch.

After Annabelle found out who the spirit was and the reason why she was taking care of thegirls, the spirit started hating her even more. MAMA started following her in order to killher. Then, MAMA took Lilly and Victoria to the place in which she had committed suicide.The spirit wanted to jump off the same place in which she had died, but Victoria wanted tostay with Annabelle and Lucas. Annabelle after following the spirit, called Lucas and hecame as fast as he could. Lilly insisted on her sister going with her, but she did not want to. So, Lilly and the spirit jumped and committed suicide, so their souls would be together forever.
